We sustainably harvest local sea vegetables from the clear, cold waters of the North Atlantic that surround Grand Manan Island. Experienced harvesters carefully hand-gather the sea vegetables from their pristine beds at the peak of nutrition. The harvest is then dried on beach rocks by the sun and sea breezes.

Our workers then grade, package and seal the products in order to preserve their freshness. This is all part of the organic certification process, following standards for the harvesting and handling of sea vegetables.

To satisfy increasing demand from manufacturers, food service providers and food technologists, we are proud to offer not only dulse, but three other exceptional sea vegetables from the waters of the Bay of Fundy. These include Atlantic Nori, Sea Lettuce and Alaria, all of which are of the highest quality.

Although handling tonnes of quality sea vegetables every year, Atlantic Mariculture remains a small, consumer-focused company.
